Vice President

Mr. Carr joined TechniQuest Corporation as Vice President and Director of Traffic Engineering on Monday, January 17, 2022.  Mr. Carr role for TQC will be overseeing staff and directing traffic engineering analysis and design efforts for all projects.  Mr. Carr has 16 years of experience in fields of transportation planning and traffic engineering. This experience includes the review and preparation of traffic engineering signal/safety studies, traffic impact studies for local planning boards, development of macroscopic and microscopic simulation models, development of TMP/MOT for construction projects and traffic signal design for Local, County and State agencies.

Mr. Carr’s project specific experience includes managing statewide asset management projects, Transportation Management Plans for Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC) Projects and designing adaptive/connected corridors for NJDOT.  This experience is highlighted within his LinkedIn profile (LinkedIn – James J. Mr. Carr is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the States of New York and New Jersey, a certified Professional Transportation Planner (PTP) and Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE).  Mr. Carr has previous experience collaborating and managing on-call traffic engineering assignments with the regional clients (i.e. NJDOT, PANYNJ, NJTA) and is familiar with the engineering and design standards for these clients.
