TQC has been conducting traffic impact studies for both large and small developments that include commercial and residential land uses, institutional (school) land uses, and many other combinations of mixed land use developments.
The traffic impact studies typically include the collection of current traffic volume data within the study area. The current traffic data will be combined with traffic volumes projected to be generated by proposed new adjacent land uses and the traffic volumes projected to be generated by the study development.
Analysis is conducted under current and projected future traffic conditions to determine what the traffic impact of the new development is expected to have on the adjacent street system. The results of the information collected and compiled study is used to identify solutions to reduce or mitigate the impact in the form of roadway and/or traffic control modifications.
TQC’s expertise and experience add value to every phase of traffic monitoring.
